Greensboro Partnership Visits Raleigh

A group of business and academic leaders from Greensboro visited the legislature to push for a nanotechnology center to be operated jointly by NCA&T and UNCG. The project, proposed to cost $65 million in taxpayer money, is not in the Governor's budget, but is a top priority of the UNC Board of Governors. The establishment of this center is expected to stimulate significant research and economic development in this burgeoning field for the Greensboro area.
